Jabsco Quiet Flush splashing out of bowl!

We have a brand new Jabsco Quiet Flush head. It works fine in all respects with one exception. When pumping out the bowl, there's such a strong whirlpool that the water (etc.) splashes up and out of the bowl onto the floor. This only happens at the very end of the dry bowl flush when the bowl is just about empty.

There doesn't seem to be a way to adjust the pump force. We can close the lid to contain the splash, but the underside still gets wet.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

A couple of possibilities could be causing it. I suggest you give Jabsco tech support a call...the direct line to Paul Campagna, who's their sanitation systems specialist is 978-282-5246

Ours does the same thing. It's like the 'glug' you would get if you poured a bottle too fast.

What we do is just before it is completely empty, we stop flushing for a second, let the whirlpool stop, then briefly 'pulse' the flush button until it is empty. Then hit it for a second or two to get some clean water in and down the line a bit.

Shrew: Learned the same technique pending a real solution.

Badsanta: Here's the fix. Certain crew members didn't follow instructions and there were, unflushable objects caught between the bottom of the bowl and the entrance to the macerator. With latex gloves and needle nose pliers (someone also suggested a wire coat hanger) I was able to extract the obstructing objects. Simple as that. Works like a charm now. Really need to reinforce the rule about nothing going into the head other than biological waste and dissolvable toilet paper. Ordered some of those disposal sanitary bags you find in hotels.

Not to be smart, but let me tell you you educate them.
Next time hand them the flashlight and pliers and tell them to remove it.
They will remember.
Note, don’t try that with the wife, it doesn’t work. Very soon you will be handed a saucepan.

Sage wisdom! Plus, let them do it while underway!

I did a similar thing, tried flushing septic safe wipes.
They would not macerate and upon closer look, the things are not cotton like they advertise, nor are they paper, they are plastic.
Easily removed though thankfully.
