Impressed current systems

Maybe a bit out of the scope of these forums but does anyone have any experience with impressed current marine growth prevention systems. Longetivity, ease of maintenance, results, power demand etc. Any experience greatfully received as we are looking at the viability of these systems for large recreational & commercial vessels in the tropics.
