Identifying my Seacock

Hi everyone,

I have a Garcia 60CC, built by the Garcia yard France in 2003. She has an aluminium hull and the through hulls are aluminium pipe welded to the hull with a threaded end. The sea cocks thread onto the pipe.

I need to replace the sea cocks and am having trouble identifying the existing make and a suitable replacement. Attached are two pictures showing the sea cock and markings.

Has anyone come across these before and can shed any light on the fitting please? I have googled FX valves and have not had much luck. Any expert advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks Gord.

I’ve not received any replies - someone must have something similar on their yacht? I have been told it might be a valve made by Rondex in France, but I cannot find any form of contact.

Any views anyone?

Re: Identifying my Seacock

Any luck finding this valve? I have a similar problem on my Lagoon 450.
The valve that dumps the holding tank overboard is not draining. I imagine that the plastic spindle has sheared off. I’m trying to find a diagram of the valve and probably order a replacement.. Mine is stamped FX DN 50-2”
Also can’t find anything online about this manufacturer.

Re: Identifying my Seacock

This looks like a Sofomarin valve. Beneteau uses one of their models as their holding tank seacock. It looks like they only have a French website, and no retail sales. Have you tried Lagoon spare parts?

capnkev, your's seems to be exactly the same valve Beneteau uses on our Oceanis 41. You should be able to get it through Beneteau dealers.

Thank you. I just signed up to get a login with beneteau so I can see the catalog.

Not an expert. RX not FX. Randex.

Hope this helps.
