Re: hot water out of cold faucet- why?

Thanks everyone for the advice. super helpful.

How many of you need to plumb your pressure relief valves? I would lead it to AC sump within bilge, but wondering if it's necessary or will it just be a tiny bit of steam escaping?

You can run it to the pan under the heater or the bilge. consider what would get wet if it relieved. It's a safety feature and shouldn't be discharging on a regular basis. If I'm running the engine for an extended time I usually turn off the pressure pump and relieve the pressure through the faucet. If I need water underway there will be some pressure and if its not enough? turn the pump on for a short time. with the pressure relieved the accumulator should hand the expansion due to the heat.
