hoses from engine to potable water heater

i removed a potable water heater
and I'm wondering:
do i cap hoses that went to Perkins4108 engine or loop short hose length where old potable heater hoses ran?

Re: hoses from engine to potable water heater

Either works, if you plan on replacing the water heater later loop it, if not, cap it then there is one less hose to deal with.

Re: hoses from engine to potable water heater

I don't know how it set up on Perkins, but on my Yanmar 2QM15 capping the hoses would kill the flow through the engine. Water heater was in the loop without bypass.
