Hose and through hull location

This is a low level question but one that could be important. I want to use the current inlet through hull location (made larger of course) as a new outlet location and then place the inlet location on the other side of keel (older full keel) but at about same depth and fore and aft as outlet. Head installation instructions are to put outlet higher than inlet. Can you tell me if you would be concerned with the plan I have?
Also what hire recommendations do you have?
Thanks
Phil

Re: Hose and through hull location

The reason for the recommendation to place the outlet higher is so the inlet wont pump in excrement. Being on the other side of a full keel that is not going to happen. So, yes, you would be good to go with that setup.
