Hep20 Hose

Just working through installing my webasto water heater and pretty much there but I have a question,
Will be using 22mm hep20 pipe teed off to heating matrix with 15mm hep20 but I need to connect the hep20 15mm to the heating matrix with rubber hose 16mm . How do I connect hep20 to rubber hose. Is it just a case of slotting pipe in to hose and using a hose clamp??
I am using hose as more flexible to back of the heating matrix, I thought of going straight on to heating matrix with hep20 push fitting on to copper but not sure! Thanks for any advice

Re: Hep20 hose

Tom, presumably you are UK based, thought it worth mentioning because quite a few folk on here will be wondering about the metric measurements.

That is what we have done on the cold water hand pump but as its not under pressure then no problems in the last couple of years. Double jubilee clip holds the hose on though note there is a steel insert to stop the plastic Hep20 pipe from being crushed.

Hep20 is standard plumbing stuff, so there might be a widget to convert it. Do you have a good plumbers around with catalogues to search through? although B&Q et all stock it.

Hi
Thanks for the response. Yes sorry about the sizes!!
I am wondering if the jubilee clip system will work as there will be some pressure but not a great amount. Thanks again

Re: Hep20 hose

Tom, elsewhere in board I have hot rubber hoses clipped onto the calorifier under engine water pressure and my car engine is full of them with just a single clip. Water pressure in the car engine is ??? but seems okay and Webasto make heating systems to plug into car and lorry systems.
