Help to ID Raritan model

I want to buy a rebuild kit for my Raritan head, but I need some help to ID the exact model that I have so I make sure to get the right parts.

Any help from these pics would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Re: Help to ID Raritan model

It's a Raritan PHII. If it was built before 6/92, it needs kit PHIIRK. If it was built AFTER 6/92, it needs kit PHIIRKC. And it's important to get the right one, 'cuz not all the parts are interchangeable.. If you don't know its age, give Raritan a call. There should be a serial # somewhere on the pump, but don't worry if you can't find it...their tech support guys can still ID it. 800-352-5630 x 3

As long as you're rebuilding it, it would also be a good idea to replace the corrugated hose and cold water hose--neither of which are rated for below-waterline connection--with sanitation hose. Sheilds or Trident #148 flex PVC is fine for your flush water inlet hose...If replacing hoses is a job you only want to do ONCE, go with a toilet discharge hose that's proven to be odor permeation resisitant. It'll cost you a bit more, but definitely worth it. Raritan SaniFlex RaritanSaniFlex hose would be my choice. Defender has it for <$10/ft.

Re: Help to ID Raritan model

Thanks for the detailed info Peggie! Its very possible that it is pre-6/92 so I will need to get out to the boat and look for a serial number on the pump housing.

Thanks for the heads up on the hoses as well. I am fairly confident they are original (1986) so likely way overdue to be replaced. Now is the right time to do it!
