FrigoboatKeel cooler

Hi all...

I have the typical IP 2 fridge setup FrigoboatKeel cooler in my 460...when I got the boat both fridges worked and were set to factory default of 20 degrees. The next day I turned on the right fridge & it won't cool. There is an amber light on the control instead of a green light...the condenser is cold.
Other fridge works fine. Is there a reset or fuse I'm missing?

Re: FrigoboatKeel cooler

Check and see if compressor cycles on for 5 minutes then off for 5 minutes if so it may be in the defrost mode. If compressor runs continuously with no frost on evaporator it will be a refrigerant problem.

Your best hope for correct answer if it is a Frigoboat digital thermostat question would be to contact them. I am assuming thermostat is a Coastal MK II and not a SSC.

Problem fixed by phoning Coastal Climate Control...the US distributors...the nice lady on the phone walked me through resetting the Carel digital controls & all is good!
