Espar Module breakdown

I have an Espar heater that was working perfectly for days with very little use for the past 15 odd years. I am trying to find a module from an older version circa 15- 20 yrs. The distributors just laughed and said buy a new system we do not make or have that module any longer. Big deal and expense to start all over due to the size and current space available...Anyone have any leads ??Thank you

Re: Espar Module breakdown

Have you checked ebay? Even so, I'll bet it's the blower motor.

Re: Espar Module breakdown

We could not hook-up to the module due to their being so many different harnesses that are necessary to hook into the computer diagnostic program. The service guy was 99 percent sure it was the module/control unit/actuator. All other aspects, indicator lights etc were operable. The downside is its age and parts are ?? If I am lucky on Ebay we shall see

Re: Espar Module breakdown

Also if you google espar heaters one of the first hits is a thread by Brian at Marineengine.c*m, very helpful reading for the older units.
