Espar Heater - where to locate exhaust?

We are installing an Espar diesel heater in our Cabo Rico 34. The dealer suggests locating the exhaust high on the transom. I'm worried about a following sea flooding down the exhaust. Any suggestions?

Typically that is the best spot. If you are in conditions where a following sea getting in is likely, just plug it up.

“... To avoid water ingress, the hull fitting must be at least 300mm above the waterline and a suitable bend (gooseneck) formed in the exhaust to prevent water collecting in the exhaust ...”
