Too bad we cant just have 12 inch diameter pipe that comes up three feet above the waterline with a toilet seat on it. Life would be so much easier.

I have a great photo of a toilet just like this David
was on boats in the philippines, will post it in a few days
except it had no pipe
was only a hole in the floor
as good as it sounds
do you reckon your guests would mind
oh yeah no water or paper either

Don't laugh. Dhow sailers in the Arabian and Persian Gulf have used the hole in the floor method for ages!
