Re: Does anyone know the manuf. of this thru hull?

Marelon is made by Forespar. Mine is 12 years old and still works like new.

Great stuff.

Marleon is Glass Reinforced, not moulded plastic; with proper maintenance they are fine; PVC and plastic aren't

Re: Does anyone know the manuf. of this thru hull?

I.ve had Forspar Marlon valves on my Ferro cement boat for 25 years, there going strong and look as good as the day I bought them. I chose them because they can be screwed (using the through hull fitting) or bolted to the hull. Or both! I would not use household plumbing fittings.

Hi, I just had to redo mine and I'm in Mexico with NO resources...If push comes to shove, buy a more conventional thru hull/seacock and glass shut the holes and make new ones...It really isn't that difficult to do and you can use whatever thru hull combo you want.
I hope it all turns out well for you...I feel ya..
