Did DIY Watermakers fold???

I tried calling DIY Watermakers last week and no one answered the phone. This week I get the message "You have reached a non-working number" on both their 888 and local numbers. Does anyone know what happened to them? I assume they folded but was wondering if anyone knew for sure.

Re: Did DIY Watermakers fold???

I think they merged with another company, or got bought out, or something like that. Perhaps their phone numbers changed. Did you try their website?

I left a message on their contact page on Monday morning, still no response. But then again it's only Weds. and sometimes those contact page things aren't read very often. Usually when a phone number changes there's a message for at least a month pointing you to the new number. I guess I'll just buy a new membrane for my Katadyn. I'll give them one more day before I do that. The Katadyn works fine if you don't mind babysitting it all the time. I was going to upgrade to a 30 GPH AC unit.
