Thanks, we're batten down pretty good at the homefront. Helping neighbors and securing boats is the days order but, enough beer is in the spare fridge so we're ready for anything. Living here all my life I've been through a lot of hurricanes before, but this one is extra special. Good to hear from you, we were up in Port Douglas on the weekend, first time in nearly 4 years. As to our decision regarding the Cape Horn, we always set out to have 12 vdc system powered by the solar array lithium batteries etc.
So I was after something efficient, and according to most people I know who have them, they are usually happy with the performance. I did pick this one up secondhand, it is 3 years old and I am still installing it, I expect I will have to throw a bunch of money at it to get it working, but I remain optimistic.I am sure I will have some more questions here as I go through the installation stage.
