Best Flushing toilet

I need to buy a flushing toilet and my budget less than 500 bucks. Which brand toilet you will suggest buying?
One-piece toilet or two-piece toilet! Which piece has more popularity?

Re: Best Flushing toilet

Jabsco electric macerating quiet flush, it just works and is simple to change out or clean out the macerator if someone flushes something inappropriate down the head; it only takes 10 minutes.

Lavac manual. The best and no smell.

I'm a little confused about your response. Tbe companiex you list are home toilet manufactures, not marine. Completely different beast. Raritan, Jabsco, Tecma are all marine head manufacturers.

Blakes lavac. Best marine toilet ever made.
No moving parts. Vacum flush.
I once sold seat and lid seals to a guy. Never serviced the toilet. Boat was built in 1978.
Love them. Yes its possible to love a toilet.

Re: Best Flushing toilet

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, eskonp.

Quoting Peggy Hall, the “Head Mistress”: “Best manual toilets: Raritan PHII (PHC is the compact version that uses the same pump) or Lavac. Don't even THINK of adding an electric motor to either one!
Practical sailor recently rated the Raritan Marine Elegance "best in show" among macerating electric toilets and the Raritan SeaEra "best budget buy."

Re: Best Flushing toilet

Blakes is a UK company and I'm pretty sure they have dealers/distributors in Europe...if not IN Spain, near enough to make purchasing a Lavac or parts for one feasable. Send them an email or call them. You should find contact info on their website: Home

Sometimes, you just have to wonder......

Why qualify the purchase of a toilet by limiting it to searching only for a “flushing” toilet? Is there some other type?

Sorry, couldn’t resist...

Best Flushing toilet

To my mind the best is the one you can gets parts easiest for. In my cruising grounds that’s jabsco manual , is it the best no , but can I fix it easily , you betcha

Trying to find parts quickly ( it’s always quickly for toilets ) for rare brands like Blake’s or Lavac is just a pita
