Re: basin faucet with separate shower head... any suggestions?

This morning I received a call from the Jamestown Boatyard.
The lady was very helpful and apparently had done a fair amount of research to find out what I needed.
She gave me the name of the person to contact:

Joe Pisciotta
561 414 8154
Almaco - Know-how in offshore accommodations and newbuilding galleys (not dot com)

The company is a worldwide supplier for cruise ships, ferries and the like, but the USA office is in Florida.

I have one on order, 15-20 days from Finland

That was quick.. I should have given my phone #.
If you don't mind me asking, what model did you order and how much$$ did it end up at? Their product looks really nice.

Did you get a shipping quote and place the order? I am very interested in the results.

I ordered it, got a shipping quote and now the wait starts.
Shipping was $61 USD from Finland.

When you want what you want, and there's no option, well...

I'll post when I receive the shipment.
Probably about three weeks from now.

Re: basin faucet with separate shower head... any suggestions?

The shower/faucet arrived today, and it appears to be well made.
The pipe fittings will be easy to hook up to existing plumbing.
The faucet is chrome plated and has a very solid and smooth feel.
The shower handle and wall mount are both chrome plated plastic, but seem to be well finished.
I was hoping for a metal spiral hose for more flexibility, but it's plastic.

Overall, I'm satisfied with it, and will post more when it gets installed.

Re: basin faucet with separate shower head... any suggestions?

Here is the Oras faucet installed.
Only hitch with it is our boat's water pressure isn't enough to totally switch the water output exclusively to the shower/bidet wand. The faucet still runs slightly.
I've never measured our pressure, but it's typical for a boat. Probably around 30 psi or so.

I may take the faucet apart to see if I can massage a spring tension to get it to switch completely.

Looks really nice. how is the shower pattern? I think I'll be ordering one, that is exactly what I meant in the opening post.

Re: basin faucet with separate shower head... any suggestions?

I took some pics.
I haven't used it yet, but as I remember, it's pretty parallel.
It's actually listed as a bidet wand, but in as small as our head compartment is, it ought to work well for a shower.
There is no pattern adjustment.
I should add, I purchased an 8 foot ss hose on Amazon for $10 as the original one was going to be a bit short to use as a shower.

https://www.amazon.com/Shower-Stainl...Q02D1F5WP38757

It fit the holder perfectly.

It's nice having the boat at a dock in the back yard !
