Baitek watermakers

Ok so after much research Ive finally decided an efficient 12v watermaker will be the way to go for us.

Of course spectra is the name brand in this space but im not at all keen on the kind of money they want for one of their versions. In my research ive come across Baitek. They are Italian made and the company has supposedly been making RO makers for 20 years so seem to have stood the test of time but in english spoken world at least they dont seem to be that common.

3 year warranty says they back their product though.

Similar specs to the spectras ie 9 amps for 25 liters per hour for the base model but half the price. so what if anything am i missing?

Anyone using these watermakers and how do they go? any other alternatives to the expensive spectras people can recommend?

thanks

Re: Baitek watermakers

bought a little Baitek unit from the UK distributor. Very helpfull guy.
Was very easy to install and no problem getting spare filters etc. So far have completed the ARC and now in ST Lucia, very happy with its performance and power consumption
