Maybe:
Fill tank. Drain hose and roll up. Store hose out of sunlight. When tank is nearly empty, get hose back out and repeat (rinse hose out before putting water into tank).
Not trying to be smart ass, but that's what I have always done.
As you said, algae requires sunlight. Those white hoses are pretty thin, and the color likely lets lots of light through.
This one is 3/4" and 200 psi rated (don't think sunlight would get through that thing
