A top quality marine stove?

Can anyone recommend a top quality propane marine stove? Most that we have used are very imprecise in their heating temperatures. Having to guess at whether to add or subtract minutes of cooking time has not been very satisfactory. We would prefer a 3-burner gimbaled stove, possibly a 4-burner although I'm not convinced that they are more usable than a 3-burner. If the stove could work on butane as well as propane, that would be a big bonus.

I also like our force 10, however IMHO the oven burner isn't quite powerful enough. I have alleviated most of the small burner blues with a pizza stone over the burner (thermal mass).

Re: A top quality marine stove?

The accuracy of the oven temperature has been the big issue for us. Our ENO oven is hit or miss and others have commented that their Force 10 is the same, usually 50-100 degrees cooler than the setting. Surely someone makes a marine oven that is as accurate as ovens in the home. I've heard that Dickenson might be better. Has any CF reader used one?

And what is a pizza stone?

Pizza stone = (in a nutshell) a flat rock.

Google it.
