DOJ said , plus not have the aggro of always needing gas.


And as stated in an earlier post of mine, gas is not alway's easy to come across in other places.

Hey Guy's
Thes that work of gas etc are called Absorbsion ( spelt wrong I think) units.
Most of the mini bars you get in the hotels are also that so the guest dos'nt get disturbed by the compressor noise. Problem is they use a nasty gas. Not freon but sometimes amonia. They are also prone to corrosion and will leak quite quickly. You will know about it . LOL

Yes it is amonia. But the tubeign is very solid. It takes a lot to corrode through. If the tubing corrodes, you have other issues to worry about I think.
