I had the same problem with the one blade not deploying. But I swapped mine because of the lousy reverse thrust and marginal forward performance.

Both cotters go through the pivot pin at each end, and if I get the story straight, the blades took a powder between uses, so who knows, I sure don't. It is a bit of a stretch that some one stole them but it's hard to fit this into natural causes too.
