Replacing Cutlass Bearing

Took a quick look at replacing the cutlass bearing on my Catalina 400 today. Does anyone know if this can be done without dropping the rudder?

Re: Replacing Cutlass bearing

can you do it with removing the prop? once the shaft is disconnected from the trans you may get a enough angle movement to clear the rudder without the prop.
