When hauled out last month had this stuff painted on the prop & shaft for $80nz.
Wasn't planning on this but the launch beside Minaret had it done 2 years previously, it still looked good, just a bit faded.

I was quoted about $120 here for my 3 blade prop. Have to take the prop off and drive it to Seaview (30km away) to get done overnight. Would be a lot less hassle to do it myself.

We had PropSpeed applied when the boat was out of the water in the boatyard a few months back - shows on the bill amongst everything else as NZD160. That for an 18" 3 blade prop (but skinny blades as is a high aspect ratio one).

The yard reckoned it was gaining a widely held good reputation as working well and recommended doing it as we normally only get the boat out of the water every second year. They also suggested it when we were lifted 2 years before but this time I agreed for two reasons - first as a test just out of interest and second when I walked around the lifted boats (that not in Wellington) ALL the better kept ones were using PropSpeed.

So, we will see what it looks like in 2010 .
