By the way....I forgot.... EWOL props can be easily installed and set underwater, pitch setting takes about 20 seconds.

Once the boat is back in the water adjustmēnts will likely be needed....other things are being done that require being on the hard. This winter refit will go a long way toward putting the boat in top shape. Looking forward to a long and exciting trip north next summer. woohoo!

Your Ingrid is a bit of a special case with the prop so near the surface. I definitely would talk with PYI and see what they say, I assume they've done a lot of Ingrids in the past. As noted abvove, maybe there is some advantage to a 4 blade over 3 due to that.

If "dripless SB" is another way to say dripless shaft seal, we were very happy with our PYI dripless seal. It worked flawlessly over 15,000nm and I think is still going strong with the new owner. Of course, a haulout is mandatory to put in a new shaft seal.

We had a Whitby 42 with an 80hp Ford Lehman, probably much bigger than your engine. I will be surprised if PYI recommends a four bladed prop but in any case I would go with what they recommend for your boat/engine/tranny. They are good people there in our experience and by reputation. I just wish the MaxProps were cheaper as I want one on our new/old boat.

What size do you need? I just pulled a 3-blade Classic in good condition off an Islander 36. The owner wanted a Martec folder instead. My guess is might want to sell it.

Thanks for the thought. That would be great if it worked out. I need a 16" prop for a 1.25" shaft.
