Lagoon steering system

Hi all. I just wanted to post the results of a search for replacement end bearings for the connecting rod between the two rudder stocks on our 2006 built L440. They were identified as standard SKF end bearings, pretty much an over-the-counter part most commonly used in this particular size as truck tie-rod ends. A little more searching came up with the same 20mm fitting in stainless steel. About AU$45 more per unit than regular steel, but worth the extra. The SKF part No / Code is GIRSW20RR 20mm. They have a 1.5mm metric thread. Both ends are R hand thread.
