Yup, HelloSailor has it correct. They took it off, ask them for it. Otherwise the answer has been given. Standard bar stock most of the time. If your shaft is 1.125 as mine is, I'd venture its cold rolled steel, 1/4x1/4. Thats what mine is.

You should be able to get standard brass key stock from a good automotive supplier.... if you can find one!

I would look around a welding shop. Always have a good supply of metal..
