Does anyone know this saildrive brand and model?

I have broke saildrive in my boat (it's a handmade boat and there is no any information)

The engine lombardini 1204m
Saildrive has no any brand or model number.

I need spare part for sail drive.

Can anyone help me on this?

this is a SELVA ( italian stuff ) . I have 2 of these on my cat , they were fitted by Nanny diesel ( France ) at a time and still are fitted by Sole diesel in spain .

Can I help one way or the other ? ...

Can i disassembly the sail drive boat on the sea?

I have the same Selva saildrive on a three cylinder Daihatsu. Not engaging forward (or reverse) may be a problem with the remote connection, which you can adjust on the side of the unit. Mine has given this problem, probably through vibration over time, when the locking nut has loosened and the "throw" of the cable has changed. The triangular gear lever on the side then doesn't engage the gears properly. If it's not that you will probably have to take the saildrive out in the yard to dismantle/investigate it .

My selva's problem not that easy (remote control or like that).
I'm trying directly to the saildrive's control stick but when i pull the stick nothing happening, if i push the stick than engaging the reverse.

sounds like a problem with the "fork" that move the "satellite" witch engage forward or reverve , the satellite itself or the forward gear ...in any case the sailddrive cannot be serviced in the water because the problem is located at the bottom part of the saildrive .

This is a good saildrive but it become too fragile to coop with power exceedind 25 HP , this is the reason why Nanni has change for Volvo saildrive in their new series .

So this saildrive not perfect for 25+ engines? (Mine 33 hp)

I have checked at the BETA marine site where you can see part list and order them , Selva recommand a maximum of 29HP diesel engine .

Anyway I think that 33HP is ok if "managed " carefully ( NEVER engage gear with excess of engine revs , wait untill engine has slow down before changing forward/reverse , ... but all that is ( should be ? ) a basic for carefull mariner
