Cutlass Bearing for a Lagoon 55

Does anyone here know where to get a cutlass bearing for a Lagoon 55 (cat so I need two and probably a bunch more for spares). It's an all plastic affair and I can't seem to locate one anywhere.

I have e-mailed the folk at Jenneau but haven't heard back (yet).

James.

Hi James,

You might want to look at a composite bearing as these can be machined to suit a wide variety of shaft and tube sizes, they can be supplied for finishing locally if that is easier.

Have a search for marine composite bearings and you will get a selection of suppliers.

Lagoon 55 Cutlass bearing

Sorry I can't help.

However, there is a very active Lagoon Owners Group in Yahoo groups. You might try joining and post there. lagooncatowners : Lagoon Catamaran Owners Group

There is also a Lagoon Owners section on the Multihulls4Us forum. You can try posting there as well. Multihulls4us Forums - Powered by vBulletin

I am pretty sure you would get a reply from either one. Good luck.

Marshall

Look up Vetus catalogue - they provide both metal and plastic.

Thanks to all of you. I think I've tracked them down. $100+ for a piece of plastic. Yipee! I'll be joining that Yahoo group now...
