Catalina 27 prop

Hello. i recently purchased a Catalina 27, and was thinking of installing a feathering or folding prop. i know nothing about the propulsion besides the fact that it is a universal model 18 with a prop pitch of 10. any suggestions, has anyone done this before?

Keep in mind there are Catalina 27's that regularly sell for less than a new feathering/folding prop. Check prices and you'll be shocked.
