Question Anode Shaft Line Cutters all in one

Has anyone tried these. Sounds interesting. Wonder if they work...

I've never understood why you would want to pay for and then throw away a line cutter every time you have to replace an anode.

I think that simplicity and price are pretty compelling reasons. For around $40 I can get a combined anode-line cutter that is trivial to install, even underwater. The anode alone would typically be around $10-15. I've been looking at line cutters lately, and they are very pricey, even the simpler ones are around $400-500. Another reason is that some boats don't have enough space between the shaft tube and the prop to install a more traditional line cutter and an anode - by combining them that becomes a manageable problem.

Also, if you need a quick, temporary solution, this is can't be beat - I was going to use the term "no-brainer", but I've seen how sensitive some people on this forum are ;-). I like it and am going to give it a try. If it sucks, then it's a cheap experiment...
