I just got back from an amazing trip with Derek Hatfield on Spirit of Canada, his open 60. (spiritofcanada.net)

Wow! Four days from Bermuda to Nova Scotia. Peak surfing speed of 21 knots.

What a boat! Very Spartan living conditions, but well worth it for the performance and the company. Derek does a fantastic job. I think he's sold put for the season, but if you get the chance, go for it!
