Sailors and Ladies,
I'm potentially going to be joining your ranks here pretty soon! I've been doing some
research (who doesn't these days?) in terms of
learning the basics of sailing, getting certifications/licenses, and what's the quickest/cheapest way to go about
learning the
sails and here's what I've planned.
I'm in the Middle East currently so I am looking to attend a
sailing school in
Greece and complete my Competent Crew course over the span of a week. It's a bit pricey but I mean, it's beautiful Greece!
After completing the Competent Crew I think I'll start looking for "Crew Needed" positions to get some miles and further experience then figure out the rest from there.
Any tips or recommendations to my plan?
