Coast Guard requirements?

Just wondering what (if any) certification is required by Coast Guards around the Caribbean for sailing ones own boat in their waters? Talking about legal requirements, not "good-to-have".

Re: Coast Guard requirements?

None.

Of course, you need passports, boats papers, and that sort of thing for checking into and out of the various countries. But in terms of some sort of proof that you are a competent sailor? None.
