Can ferro boats be used for commercial work?

Wondering if anyone can confirm if Ferro Cement yachts can be used for commercial work. I'm thinking day or week charters possibly from a European base for coastal sailing.

1, Can they be insured?
2, Can they be licensed?

Which countries can and can't this be done?

I understand getting permits in the country is another challenge just looking to see if a ferro boat can actually be used for this.

Age of boat 1987, size 14.5m

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Well... there's an RYA sailing school in Salcombe, UK that use's a ferro motor launch as its ferry to the floating school.. certified regularly for 50+ crew..
They're used for fishing boat hulls as well.. the Chinese have fleets of them...

Re: Can ferro boats be used for commercial work?

Thanks, nice to hear a RYA school uses one..

Was aware a lot of fishing boats used ferro, so thought it must be possible.

I am sure all is down to a surveys as usual, already having a discussion on ferro boats in another forum so will keep this only on a "can it" or "can it not" basis..

Thanks for the input, great help.
