This would be my next choice if I got to purchase another boat, I love the layout , the huge galley and that aft cabin.

Unfortunately my Captain insists on our next boat being a single engine for better fuel economy.

I too would like to read some reviews from owners / past owners.

Right around 1990, my family was in the market for a new boat and we looked at the San Remo and Portofino. I thought that it was a 43' San Remo, but I might be mistaken.

Anyways, it was a BEAUTIFUL boat. We came very close to buying the San Remo, but the price at the time was a bit high for the offering.

Good luck with it. It was a great boat!

You have the

46' CMY (Cockpit Motor Yacht)
43' San Remo
43' Portofino

All are on the same hull. I have a Portofino and its awesome! I just looked at a 46' CMY and while it has more room, it really does not have a friendly layout...the 46' has an aft deck area just outside the aft cabin. I do like the Galley in the San Remo and CMY....However my Portofino is a little nicer in my humble opinion.

The 46' CMY seem to be in the 100K range....San Remo...75K....Portofino's 65K.

Good luck!

Well, I've been a proud owner of a great 1990 Wellcraft 46' CMY. I have truly enjoyed every minute I have spent aboard my GEMINI. I have the European layout which makes the salon a lot bigger and prettier.
The cockpit area behind the aft cabin, transom, and swim platform are a must to me and all my passengers.
Feel free to ask any questions!

46' CMY--

I woud like to see the different layouts. I am living aboard my Portofino and have looked at 2 CMY's both were a very high asking price and were "partnership" boats so not taken care of-- ONE THING IS FOR SURE--Wellcraft really built some NICE Cruisers and Yachts in the late 80's and 90's.

Lets see some pictures! A lot of people think my Portofino is a much later model of a Sea Ray, I think Wellcraft was way ahead of themselves in the design of these boats.

Lots of BANG for the Buck!

Wellcraft 46 CMY

One of the largest 46' layout is the Wellcraft 46 CMY, especially the European design.
Hope these pictures help!
Yes, this is what I enjoy doing on the weekends!
