I didn't mean to muddy the water regarding independent rudders, I have operated several vessels with this feature and it works very well for controlling the boat's position, you only have to shift the propulsion direction between the 2 engines. It is not normally applicable to recreational boats. I was just being long winded. I am sorry to say I have never witnessed an Orangutan using a power drill, I would be interested to see the results.

Neither have I, but the results as I imagine them wouldn't be a conventionally desired outcome.
