over 45 feet towing a center console. Most of them had fairly long tow lines and I saw a lot of them pulling the center consoles on plane.
I think being on plane makes it work better for them, my little dinghy's hull speed
is about 4 kts, so towing it at 6 or so kts is right at where drag is stupid high, but if I could get it to break over on plane it would lessen I believe.

slowed me down way more than I would have thought, it cost me at least a knot
or more, I don't tow now.
