Any single ply paper works just fine in any manual head. That's all the WM stuff is, with a higher price tag. Ripoff.

I've never had a blockage in the past five years with toilet paper. Been on boats that bag toilet paper and ask 'why'? They usually have some expensive head which won't take TP. I always recommend they swap for a cheap one then.

I am using much less toilet paper than I used to use. I am researching this to reduce waste at sea and also reduce the need for supplies. I first use about 6 or 7 sheets carefully folded and refolded between wipes, and get 6 or more good wipes, depending on the consistency of the movement. I set this aside after use and it dries before the next movement, the last wipe from the last use are clean enough to serve as a first wipe for the next use and then I cover that with the first sheet of 4 sheets and wipe again. I then with careful folding I often can get 6 wipes or more out of the 4 sheets, sometimes there is enough left over for a first couple wipes for the next use. The wad gets too big to be convenient after about 6 movements. Overall I probably use 1/3 the toilet paper, reducing trash (since on a boat the TP should not go in the water with the waste) and also reducing the supplies needed to be carried.

a. Kleenex can survive the laundry. There's nothing more to say. I wonder if it doesn't cause most clogs, since all proper paper gradually falls apart.

b. Use enough water. Some folks skimp for fear of pump outs, and then wonder why pumping out is a battle.

PS has an updated review sometime in the next few months. A few good surprises (grocery store brands that out-perform "marine").

You can get rapid dissolving paper through Amazon. For exampleI typed in Marine grade toilet paper and found Scott rapid dissolving paper for .71/roll. 6 years on our boat and no problems at all.

Any single ply paper like Scott will work fine. Buy the cheapest stuff you can find. Actually, the expensive paper at the marine store is just repackaged and relabeled cheap single ply paper.

It's a gimmick!
Just buy normal toet paper. I buy the 'basic' range not the 'extra tough' or 'extra soft'.
And flush it in the head! There's no way I want to live my life bagging toilet paper.

The normal Jabsco head has a 2 inch outflow pipe. Its pretty hard to clog it up.
About 10 squares per flush is fine.

In TrentePieds, and in any other boat I've ever skippered, there are two rules: 1) "If you intend to put it in the toilet, eat it first" 2) "Them wot bungs the toilet, unbungs it!"

Use cheap single ply stuff bought at "case lot" sales.
