I would just like to see one that has actually been built. Otherwise it kind of has a Nigerian Prince tone to it. You know the "send me your money and I'll build you this cool boat, but send the money first"

If real though, it makes you wonder how safe those windows are once submerged. That's alot of glass to withstand alot of pressure

There are a couple of companies around with plans drawn up for large yach submarines. To my knowledge no one has ever built one though. If I ever won a couple billion dollar lottery they would be a serious consideration. But I wonder about building from scratch, it seems like buying a decommissioned military sub and converting it would be far cheaper.

As long as you like being sea sick. Subs can suffer seriously from wave effects even deep under water. The general rule is that in big storms you need to be 400-500 feet deep to eliminate feeling the waves.

I'm looking for a live aboard cruising submarine around 13 meters that will sleep 5 in separate cabins and not feel like a cave. Washer and dryer a must. I already have a CQR anchor that it must fit. Can anyone recommend a brand? 😘
