Seapiper

I have been reading about a new compact 35ft trawler coming out of San Diego. I haven't heard much of it lately. Does anyone have any inside information? Is it for real?

Google 'SeaPiper" - lots of detail on this new design 35' long 8'6" wide flat bottom trawler(?). Claims 2000 mile range with 85hp diesel and 280 - 300 gal. fuel tanks. Headquartered in Carlsbad, CA. No indication as to where built.

Yes but the last input was that production was to start August 2015. Now no further information. The question is whether this boat is actually going exist?

Re: Seapiper

Well, they have lots of current advertising so the marketing department must be operational... interesting design, hits most of my hot-buttons; except for budget -- even as modest as they claim, can't do that on social security.
