What is your Aficat 420:
1.Displacement
2.HP
3.Cruising speed and L/hr
4.Top speed and L/hr
and have you tried to harness the wind on a run or reach...with maybe a parachute ?

Further to my previous post , we can "
cruise " at idling speed ( 900
rpm ) and this will give us 7.4 knots SOG with a total
fuel burn of 8 l/h , @ 1200
rpm he SOG goes up to 8.5 knots with a total
fuel burn of 10 l/h so with 2,400 litres of
diesel this gives us a " reasonable " autonomy , we also have two turtle fuel bladders of 450 litres each if we want to increase our range .
Best regards
