Boat: defever trawler 41-nomad Posts: 51	i met a guy in cuba about 12 yrs ago who had a small gb trawler w/ a "stabilizing" sail. he said he could pick up an extra 1/2 kt with the right wind conditions. as far as stabilizing goes, i think it's a possibility but wouldn't bet the farm on it (maybe it would keep your nose to the wind better at anchor??). the sabre is a fine boat...my wife is in love with the 47, but...............
