Possible purchase of Pearson MY 43'

My husband and I are going to be looking at a 1985 43' Pearson motor yacht this weekend that has Perkins ST63544M engines with only 1300hrs on it. Picture's show interior good. Dry docked hull needing painted.

Can anyone give us any insight that knows anything about this vessel, the quality of it. I am thinking possibly this one was a repo or something happened to it as the pricing is around 69000.00. But I haven't anything to compare it too.

thanks in advance for your help and advice

Re: Possible purchase of Pearson MY 43'

I don't know that boat but from the age there will probably be the usual issues unless some previous owner has done some major updating and replacements. If you are not knowing and able to do a lot of repair and upgrade with your own labor and knowledge beware old motor boats can be expensive no mater the sale price.
