Officialy made the change.....

Well, a realy good deal came around on an older SeaRay and I just hads to. For the next year I'll have to put up with these worthless V-8's. next year I'll repower with Yanmar 315's and a 6kw Gen to keep my bride cool in the summer.
Here's a link to it.

Rick,
It was a total submersion in a fresh water lake. The engines were preserved and run already.

Congrats Pat!

I think you found a decent deal. On first glance, the boat looks GREAT for a total submersion. It must have been down for a very short time.

Good luck with it Pat. Looks like you have your free time accounted for for awhile

oh, I don't know, a low aspect rig added during the refit might be just the thing if properly ballasted with kegs of beer with the taps properly installed

2 thoughts

Pat,

Checked out your boat on the link you posted, and I have 2 thoughts.

1.) She's going to be a beauty when you finish her. I've always admired the Sundancers.

2.) I sure hope you're a single guy as divorces are more expensive than boats.

Rick,
I'm very maried. My wife loves boating too. As long as I get the house bills paid everymonth, the extra to play with boats is mine as I wish.
