Move to Palma

Please I need to know if is a good idea on the 6 January change place e go to live in Palma?
I m Italian and I have 15 years sea experience, with one doughter and wife pregnant.
I have my master 200 ton. With 9 years captain experience. I been in Palma but only for two days for a boat delivery.
The house are very good and cheap compare Italy or south of France.
The quality of life looks amazing and I think I m just love it.
Please If you can tell me something more will be very helpful for me.
Ex.in January I can find day work or something's ?
Is a right decision?
