mid ship cabin

I am looking at getting a new/bigger boat. The one I am thinking about has a midship cabin with the bed perpendicular to the centerline. Not what I am used to and was wondering if this has any affect on comfort while at anchor or in the slip.

never seen one like that. what kind of boat is it? power?

Its a power boat. Guest cabin is in the bow, main is just aft and oriented sideways.

It is unusual, the drawback could be that it might mess with your head a little if you are in a rolly anchorage, if that is an issue you could always move to the guest berth.
