Help identify this boat.

This boat belonged to my father in the 40's. This is the only picture I have of it. I don't know the make, model, or year. I would love to find it, regardless of condition, as long as it's not submerged. My parents cruised Puget Sound, the Sand Juan's and up to Victoria. Any information would be most appreciated. Thanks
