Hat53 vs Tolly53

Hello all,
Need some help on comparing the Hatteras 53 MY vs the Tollycraft 53 MY. I am very knowledgeable on what the Hatteras has to offer, but how does the Tollycraft compare. I am mainly referring to seaworthiness and hull strength.
We are in the market and have determined that the Hatteras is the one, but the wife(boss) found a 1993 Tollycraft 53 MY and fell in love with the layout. I will admit it was pretty impressive but as you all know, impressive interior doesn’t mean it won’t sink when you slam you hull aground.
Any help would be great.

It’s really not, it’s a Cruising forum, by whatever means, although a lot use sail to cruise, but not all. We welcome our power boat Cruisers too.
Plus he’s posting in the power boat forum, which is of course for power boats.
