Angry Garmin GPSMAP 1040XS part 2

Ran out of space. Anyway, any one who boats in Florida knows rule #1, you don't go outside of channel markers unless you draw less than 2' or personally know the area really well. So, trying to maintain speed, to keep from running into someone or getting run over by the bigger boats, in our sometimes very crowded and narrow channels (who are all going as fast as they can go) and trying to move a cursor around to find a channel marker number just ain't going to happen. I'm by myself 98 per cent of the time so don't have the luxury of someone to look at charts for me. I could make me a long list of chart numbers and where to turn before I leave home, but that makes the two thousand dollars I spent on this unit an even bigger waste of money.. I kind of wish I had my cheap Lowrance I had on my last boat.
